Around 4,000 spectators made for a sensational atmosphere in the Arena Leipzig on the middle day of the tournament, and they were treated to a feast of outstanding hockey full of skill and drama. With both of host Germany’s teams reaching the final of their respective draw, Sunday will see their men face the Czech Republic at 14.30 CET and their women take on Belarus at 13.00 CET.

Hosts Germany enjoyed double success on the final day of the EuroHockey Indoor Championships Women and Men 2012. Cheered on by around 5,000 spectators in the sold-out Arena Leipzig, both their ladies' and men's teams won their respective finals to put Germany firmly at the top of European indoor hockey. The tournament organizers drew many positives from an excellent weekend in Leipzig.
